WORK EXPERIENCE

So you are keen to do work experience at Pony Music??

Due to the high amount of work experience requests we receive we have now come up with some general requirements we want you to do before being considered. Many Audio professionals in the Music and Audio Industry started off their careers with work experience (including the Directors of Pony Music Pty Ltd) so the opportunities for the right people are limitless.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Please submit a resume and job letter outlining any experience and special skills you have, including your goals and visions for the future.  Also please give possible dates that you require to complete your work experience.
* We want proactive people who are already on their way to receiving as much experience as they can get - Preference will go to students who are already involved with their school (bands, plays etc), musicians who are playing in or recording/mixing bands, volunteering in church or theatre productions, Freeza groups etc.
* Please familiar yourself with the business of Pony Music - what services we offer etc - most information is on our website www.ponymusic.com.au
* We ask that YOU call and not your teachers or parents as it is you who wants to participate in  work experience and must be able to communicate with others in a proper manner.
* Please confirm with your parents and school that the hours of work experience outlined below is acceptable.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

* Work Experience is held from our Hallam premises - 3/37-41 Hallam South Road Hallam 3803.
* Work Experience times are generally from 10am-6pm or 5pm - 11pm weeknights - although this may change depending on our work load and what is booked in each week. We are not a 9 to 5 business.
* You will be gaining experience in all aspects of our business - Rehearsals, Recording, Live Audio, PA Hire, Maintenance and Cleaning, Retail Sales etc.
* Depending on the day or week and what bookings we have we will try and show you as much as possible during the time you are here.
* We encourage "out of school" experience and encourage you to come in after your allotted work experience dates to gain further experience
