Introducing Tuition @ Pony Music.

Pony Music offers Music Lessons in the following areas:
Guitar - Bass - Drums - Vocals – Keyboard – Multi-Instrument
and Pro Audio (Live & Studio)

Pony Music offers lessons on a Casual basis and a Term basis.
Casual Students = Book and Pay when you want a lesson, based on availability.
Term Students = Pay for the whole term and secure your timeslot and teacher for the term.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are one on one lessons, and are the best way to learn your chosen instrument.  A private lesson is catered exclusively to your needs and level.

Semi-Private Lessons
A Semi-Private lesson is a lesson for two students.  This option is available for those who would prefer to learn with someone of a similar level.

Group Lessons
Group lessons have 3-5 students in each lesson.  This option is available for those who would like to learn an instrument, but are not quite ready to commit to a private or semi-private lesson.  Students will be grouped with students of a similar level.

Guitar – Bass – Drums – Vocals and Audio
Our teachers are able to teach Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Students in all areas of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals and Audio.  The teacher will assess which level you are at and teach accordingly.

Keyboard
Currently Pony Music are only offering keyboard lessons at a beginners level.  Our program has been designed for Primary School Students who are beginning to learn keyboard.  Intermediate and advanced levels will be added in future terms.

Multi-Instrument Lessons
Not sure which instrument you want to learn? 
That is not a problem at Pony Music.  We offer a ‘Have a Jam’ program which can introduce you to Bass, Guitar, Drums, Keyboards and Vocals.  This program is only available to Private Term Students, as it has been designed to give you equal exposure to each instrument, with different teachers, to allow you to decide which instrument you want to concentrate on.

Want to learn more than one instrument?
If you want to learn more than one instrument, but only have time to come to one lesson a week – then we can help.  At Pony Music we are able to design our lessons so as you can learn one to three instruments with the one teacher in your chosen lesson time!

Lesson Materials and Equipment
All items required for lessons are available to purchase at Pony Music.  A lesson book will be required within the first term of lessons, and start at $20.  You do not need to have your own instrument when you first start out with your lessons (although it does help with practice) – when you are ready to make a purchase our teachers and staff are able to assist you in making informed choices that will suit your learning level, style and budget.

Practice
With everything in life, the more you practice the more you achieve.  At Pony Music we recognize that practice can be difficult at times and will assist you with ways of making your practice productive.  We offer all of our students access to practice rooms, which are on-site at Pony Music.
