Homebrew Electronics Germania Treble BoosterThe Homebrew Electronics Germania Treble Booster produces sounds that you have heard a thousand times. Based on the original Dallas-Arbiter Rangemaster, the HomeBrew is an amazing re-creation. So where have you heard a Treble Booster you're wondering? Eric Clapton used one with Cream. Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath liked it so much, when Laney built him a signature model amplifier, he had them include a Treble Booster style circuit. Brian May of Queen used one too. Not bad company.The Homebrew Electronics Germania Treble Booster is built using New Old Stock (NOS) germanium transistors. HomeBrew did their homework and this is how you get the vintage tones. It features a switch for Lo-Fi/Hi-Fi mode. Lo-Fi is the original Rangemaster sound, in your face without apologies. Hi-Fi is a brighter, more transparent tone with less emphasis on the mid range frequencies. A second switch allows you to change the affected frequency when in Lo-Fi mode. If you have dreamt of having that original Dallas-Arbiter Rangemaster tone but are unwilling to trade in your car, the Homebrew Electronics Germania Treble Booster is a excellent option.
