NEW  PREMISES SECURED

NEW PREMISES – It’s official, After many years of preparation and planning (and losing the last factory due to the landlord going broke before we moved in) we finally have a new building and dates for builders. Construction starts in February 2008! The premises will include a large retail showroom, a huge recording studio and brand new rehearsal complex. All this is just a short stroll from where we currently are..............Stay tuned for further details!!

EVERMORE, SHIHAD, DIESEL, NOISEWORKS, ADAM BRAND

Pony supplied full backline (amps, drums etc) plus an audio engineer for the support bands for the latest Melbourne shows for these bands. We will be supplying the same for some great shows coming up in the next few months including: GRINSPOON, THE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS and AIRBOURNE so look out for the Pony crew at these shows.

ULURU

Jamie, Jay and Geoff made the trek up to ULURU in July for a corporate function for Haefle. The KV2 system rocked the outback with a nice view of the Olgas in the background! Apart from the flies and red dirt the guys had a great time and thank Haefle for putting on such a great event. Pony supplied the PA system and backline for the band who flew in from NZ for the show.

RECORDING

Recent projects at Pony include: CATWITCH (EP), FOR SOLD (album tracking), UPSTREAM (EP), DOVETON Secondary College Compilation CD (Mixing), EYE OF THE ENEMY (pre-production), THE INVITATION (pre-production) and MACHIAVELLI (pre-production). We’ve added some great new AUDIOTOYS monitors to the studio which sound awesome, along with a bunch of new mics and outboard gear.

KV2

Pony’s KV2 Audio PA system has been impressing at many venues including shows by Lee Kernaghan, Behind Crimson Eyes, Kiss Chasy, Area 7 and various others at many local shows around Melbourne and surrounds.

10 YEARS OF PONY..

Pony Music celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary in August, growing from its humble beginnings of two rehearsal studios in 1997 to 10 rehearsal studios over two locations, a professional recording studio and a well equipped production hire outlet. In 2007 we are still growing strong with a massive surge into retail musical instruments and pro audio equipment and lots of exciting happenings coming in 2008.
