 Thanks to all our customers and friends for a great 2009! Some highlights for Pony Music this year have included: RECORDING STUDIO : Finally opened in the new complex mid-year the studio has been flat out with albums underway by some great artists including: Defryme, NeObliviscaris, Stevie Paige, Carly Van, Anarchsphere, Eye of the Enemy and Secrets in Scale to name but a few.
REHEARSAL STUDIOS: Continue to be fairly heavily booked and have been drawing the attention of some high profile bands and acts including: Vanessa Amorosi, Boom Crash Opera, Closure in Moscow and Dukes of Windsor to name but a few.
RETAIL STORE: Continues to grow with some great brands and exciting new products being released: Dean Guitars arrived in November and have impressed everyone, ddrum continues to grow and Pony has been lucky enough to be involved with a number of local endorsees this year helping to further get the product out there. The 2BOX electronic drumkit has finally been released and is due sometime today which we are all really excited about!
PRODUCTION: Some great gigs we were involved with this year - way too many to mention here!
PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS: Some personal staff highlights for 2009 have included:
Geoff - "getting behind the drums once again to record some tracks for the new Defryme album, mixing FOH for Eye Of The Enemy on the Cradle of Filth and Amon Amarth shows, hearing my awesome ddrum kit used on so many sessions in the studio and seeing the little Pony grow into the beast it has become! "
Troy - "receiving a ddrum and Alchemy cymbals endorsement, recording the NeObliviscaris, Eye Of The Enemy and Anarchsphere albums, playing with Cradle of Filth and touring with Amon Amarth and the upcoming NYE show at Screamfest"
Damien - "Another fun year, more Leo Sayer and Lee Kernaghan shows, catching up with old mates and recording the up coming Defryme Album and attempting to steer the rocket ship pony without falling off.." Victor - "had a great year simply being here and getting the production company running smoothly and enjoyed the few hours he was let into the studio (its been pretty well fully booked for the last few months...)" HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY FESTIVE SEASON AND
